Weymouth is a traditional seaside town on the Dorset coast, centred around a sheltered bay with a wide sandy beach and attractive harbour. The waterfront has long been at the heart of the town, with fishing boats, pleasure craft and visitors sharing the harbour and surrounding waters. Beyond the beach, the coastline leads towards some of Dorset’s most scenic stretches of the Jurassic Coast, where the changing tide can reveal and conceal different parts of the shoreline. Check the Weymouth tide times to see the predicted high and low waters for the week ahead and plan your coastal activities around them.
